Mission
Much more than a trade portal site, Tradeeasy.com is a prime platform where sellers can readily showcase their products and quickly generate trade leads. It is a key tool enabling worldwide importers to source their products efficiently and cost-effectively. Finally, it serves as an Application Service Provider (ASP) for both importers and exporters, providing Internet based fulfilment and supply chain management solutions that embrace the entire trade and business cycle.

This broad spectrum of international trade services is made possible in part by our proprietary "Cyber-trade Platform". We have developed this platform along with our total solutions approach, because we are firmly convinced that all international trade will eventually be transacted in cyberspace.

History
Tradeeasy.com entered the B2B trade specialist arena as early as 1993, and has since emerged as the market leader and pioneer in providing electronic information exchange services for the world of trading.

As a first mover, we have top tier market information at our fingertips, an excellent network, and high value added solutions.

Notable milestones include:
1993 Tradeeasy.com's predecessor, Fax Express, was established by a group of information technologists, media specialists and trade consultants. Headquartered in Hong Kong, its core business was to assist Mainland China manufacturers to find overseas buyers using the then highly innovative fax on demand service.
1994 1994 We opened our first sales office in Guangzhou to great acclaim from local manufacturers. New offices were set up in Zhongshan, Hanhai, Shunde and Jiangmen in the next twelve months and we boosted our staff to 30.
1995
1995 We established a sales office in Hangzhou.
1996
1996 The Tinjian sales office opened.
Alert to the fresh new opportunities offered by cyber technology, we reshaped and expanded our business to leverage the power of the Internet. Tradeeasy.com was formally established with a head office in Los Angeles, and the operational centre in Hong Kong . Representative offices in Australia, Canada, Netherlands and Germany were set up to pave the way for expansion worldwide.
1997
1997 Tradeeasy.com was launched as a trade portal site and it enjoys a daily hit of over 30,000. We wound down all fax on demand services and transferred our extensive databases to the Internet system. A pilot Hong Kong sales team was set up to test market acceptance of Internet based marketing services.
1998
1998 After a full year of research and development, the first ever proprietary developed Internet application "Cybersales Management Platform" was launched, demonstrating our exponential growth.

We quickly introduced homepage design and search engines submission services to cater for the growing demand by manufacturers for Internet marketing services.
1999
1999 New offices were set up in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. Our registered buyers were given the benefit of our "Hot Buy" service to help them undertake their most urgent product sourcing.
Now
We have invited CCT Telecom to become our strategic investor and established alliances with other major corporations that provide value added services to enhance international trade on the web, such as HKNet, FedEx, inter-Merchant, Rebound, TradeCard, ITS, SGS, Lotus Tours, LegalStudio, and Asia Pulse.

Our staff complement worldwide has increased from fewer than 10 people in 1993 to more than 300.

Tradeeasy.com's management and its operational teams are our greatest asset.

As the ideal complement to the efficient but still cool Internet environment, Tradeeasy.com people team together to provide all their clients with the friendliest and most quality driven off-line support. We insist that high tech needs high touch for our clients' operations - and our own -to be consistently successful and profitable.

Creating this hybrid of the virtual and the real world is essential in international trade - a complex and changing business environment involving many parties and many different regulatory regimes and requirements. We have therefore created two teams of that make Tradeeasy.com stand out from the rest - our seller service team and our buyer service team.

Our seller service team is constantly on the road throughout Mainland China and other Asian countries, tracking down the very best and most innovative manufacturers. Team members communicate fully with manufacturers, listening to their needs, getting to understand their business, and putting their companies online. Besides collecting valuable data, seller service team members provide a constant flow of consultant advice to seller members to strengthen their day to day trading knowledge and capabilities.

Our buyer service team also travels widely, but its target is buyers around the globe. They visit our buyer members, staying close to their procurement needs and helping them source the right products both online and offline.

Worldwide Offices

Tradeeasy.com was founded in 1996 with an operational office in Hong Kong, a head office in Los Angeles, and a network of sales and service centres in eleven major cities in Mainland China.
